Hello Parents & Guardians of AHS Seniors - Class of '025,
I would like to meet with you all to discuss Prom, Fundraisers, & Graduation on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 6 pm in the Student Union.
Also, we currently have two upcoming Fundraisers - Singo for $25 at Red Bone on March 1st at 6 pm and the Pork Butt Fundraiser for $60 each. See attached flyers for more details.

Arkansas High School schedule pick-up will be on August 14, 2024 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for 9th - 11th Grade students. Pick-up will be at The Red Wall of the North Building located at the AHS campus.
The Senior class schedules will be available for pick-up on August 15th, 2024 at 10:00 am during the annual Senior Breakfast event located at Crossties in downtown Texarkana.
Students will also have an opportunity to pick up their schedule at Meet the Teacher, which will be held on August 15th, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.
All students will receive a copy of their schedule on August 19, 2024, the first day of school, during their first period class.
Attention Band parents and students,
Arkansas High School band will be having physicals starting next week Monday, June 3rd through Thursday, June 6th. Physicals will be in the band hall from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. If you have not turned in the physical form, you must do so no later than Monday, June 3rd. It is a requirement for band students to have a physical and these are free of charge. If your student does not complete the physical through the school, you must have one done at your own expense.

Dear Razorback Families, Arkansas High School will administer the STAR Assessment by Renaissance for Math and Reading on March 11th. Your child will take these short (40-minute) computer-adaptive tests during their English and Math classes. The STAR Assessment is a screening tool that provides teachers with current, reliable data quickly so they can target instruction and identify any specific learning needs of your child. A report will be available for parents to see the assessment results. Please share the importance of being at school for the test and doing their best work with your child. If you have any questions, please contact your child's Math or English teacher.

Good evening Razorback Families! Auditions for next year’s dance teams will be held next week on Thurs., Feb 22nd. All 6th & 7th grade girls who love to dance are encouraged to try out for the AMS Razorettes. If you are in 8th-11th grade, you are encouraged to try out for the AHS Redline. Audition packets are located in the school offices. Girls should join the Google Classroom using the code provided on the audition packet where dances are posted. Registration forms should be filled out and turned back into the school offices, or at the first practice, which is on Tues., March 20th. The Razorback Redline would like to invite you and your friends to the Miss Arkansas High School and Miss Arkansas Middle School Pageant on this Saturday, February 10th, in the Arkansas High School Student Union. The pageant will begin at 6:00pm, with the doors opening at 5:30. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 each general admission. Dear AHS Parents, Staff, and Students,
Due to the inclement weather causing us to miss two instructional days, we are adding ten minutes to the Arkansas High School instructional day beginning Monday, February 8, 2024 until May 30, 2024. By adding ten additional minutes to our instructional day, this will meet the requirements of the Arkansas Department of Education for instructional time during a school year. Arkansas High School’s dismissal time will be 3:58 p.m. There will be no changes to the bus schedule.
