Texarkana Arkansas School District values all families in our community and respects their educational choices. Through the Listening to Learn Homeschool Family Survey, TASD invites homeschool families to share their experiences, priorities, and ideas about how public schools can connect with and support the homeschool community.
Every family’s homeschooling journey is unique. The survey provides an opportunity to share what led your family to choose homeschooling, what has worked well, and any challenges you may have experienced.
Families are also invited to share their perspectives on:
Educational values and homeschool experience: The outcomes that matter most to your family and your experiences with homeschooling.
Community and school relationships: Your relationship with public schools and what could help build positive, respectful connections.
Collaboration: Potential programs, resources, and partnerships that families may value while continuing to homeschool.
Future choices and engagement: Your current thinking about future educational choices and how TASD can strengthen relationships with homeschool families.
Participation is voluntary, and families do not need to be interested in enrolling in TASD to complete the survey. Participation in any potential opportunity would depend on availability and applicable requirements.
The survey does not request student names. The family profile questions are optional, and families who would like to receive information about future opportunities may choose to share their preferred contact information after submitting the survey.
The survey closes November 6, 2026.
