234 Seniors To Take Part in Exercises

Commencement exercises for the 1961 Senior Class of Arkansas Senior High School have been scheduled for 7:30 p.m., May 30 at Buhrman Athletic Field.
The chosen theme of the exercises will be "Quality Education". The highest ranked individuals of the class will present the various topics.
The program will begin with the traditional procession, "Pomp and Circumstance" and Billy Mallett will voice the invocation. Ronnie Phillips, President of the Senior Class, will give the welcome.
The first topic, to be presented by Charlene Lee, will be "Architectural Implications", followed by Marcia Kemp's giving a short speech on the "Flexible Schedule" and Sandra Smith, who will speak on "Instructional Organization".
Suzanne Owens' topic, Team Teaching, will be followed by the "Electronic Link" to be given by Genie Dickey. Charles Crowell will conclude the student speeches with a talk on "Comparative Education".
Presentation of awards will be by Principal K.B. Davis and diplomas will be presented by Dr. Karlton Kemp and Dr. William Richardson. In conclusion Mike Moss will lead in singing the Alma Mater.
