Jack Hardy Award

The Jack Hardy Memorial Award is given to an outstanding individual within the district who has given of himself or herself through volunteer work. This award is named after a dedicated TASD volunteer named Jack Hardy. Mr. Hardy could be seen riding his bicycle around town selling Razorback Booster Club memberships. In spite of his physical handicaps, he sold more memberships than anyone else. It become obvious over time that if you wanted to buy a membership then Jack Hardy was the man to go to. He attend all home sporting events, and in recognition of hie service he was allowed to ride the team bus to out of town events. This year in and year out dedication to service to school resulted in TASD naming its Annual Volunteers in Schools Award in honor of Jack Hardy.
