Congratulations to North Heights Junior High Principal Theresa Cowling. Mr. Shayne Taylor, Arkansas Association of Middle Level Education (AAMLE) and AAMLE Conference Chair Ms. Lekia Jones presented Mrs. Cowling with a plaque in recognition of her dedication to the organization.

Saturday, January 26, was a tremendously successful day for our TASD band students. During the High School All-Region Band Tryouts at Lake Hamilton High School, fifty-three band students earned placements in the All-Region High School Band and Junior High All-Region Jazz Band Tryouts.  Congratulations to all.

Congratulations to the Helpful Hogs for representing Kilpatrick this weekend in Fayetteville at Arkansas’ First Lego League tournament. Kilpatrick was one of thirty-two teams, including College Hill Sixth Grade Academy, that represented TASD at the competition. During the Friday pre-competition robotic performance challenge, the Kilpatrick Helpful Hogs were Runner-Ups in the Knockout Tournament. On Saturday, in the Robot Games, Kilpatrick placed 4th out of 32 in the category. The Helpful Hogs were the youngest team in attendance and they have never competed in an event of this magnitude before.

The AHS bowling match scheduled for this Friday, January 31st against Parkview and J.A. Fair has been cancelled. No make up date scheduled.

The AHS Nike club is collecting socks for the homeless community. You may bring packaged socks to any of the AHS offices' drop boxes. For more information please call 870-774-7641.

AHS ACT PREP - Saturday, February 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the AHS North building. Open to all AHS students. For more information please contact AHS Counseling Department, 870-774-7641. 

The annual Trice Show is Friday, January 31 at 6:30 in the AHS student union.The 3rd - 5th grade classes and arts teams will be presenting " Pure Imagination". 

It is time to once again announce a magical event! On February 7th, Kilpatrick will host its annual Father-Daughter Dance. This year, our female scholars are invited to attend with their dad, uncle, grandfather, male cousin, or any adult male figure in her life.
